Currently a student at Auburn University, Anna Joubert actively participates in her community. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and working with children. Over the years, Anna Joubert has worked as a camp counselor for JH Ranch in California and participated in several missions as a member of Church of the Highlands in Auburn, Alabama.

Church of the Highlands plans to embark on a mission to Haiti from December 14-21, 2013. In conjunction with Global Effect Ministry, members of the Church plan to travel to Haiti to assist children and orphans by delivering clean water to communities that only have access to contaminated water and spreading the Gospel. The Church conducts missions in the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and other locations, as well.

Established in 2001, Church of the Highlands helps individuals connect with God without any preconceived notions or hierarchy. What began as a group of 350 members has now grown into a congregation of more than 20,000 participants. The Church offers prayer, companionship, energy, and creativity while helping members increase and improve their spirituality.
